Well I’ve been sort of ignoring this and need to get caught up.
We went down to Gig Harbor RV Park last March to get more used to the motorhome, so this being an hour and a half drive, it was the first time on a freeway for us in this almost 40 foot bus. All I can say is it drives great, comfortable, and I have to use cruise control to keep it at the speed limit.
We spent, I think, 3 days there and just walked around exploring the water front.
As far as the park, it’s a ex KOA Park by the looks of the buildings and now has new owners. They are doing a lot of work and it really shows. Being on a hill side and having terraced sites is a little different than we have experienced in the past. but they are large sites and easy to navigate. In the upper area are some long term campers, looked like some are workers that travel from one industrial job to another, welders, pipe fitters, etc.
There we are at the top of the heap.
Along the walk into town. Looks to be an old net shed, now shop.
This guy has not been used in a while.
This was at the turn around point of a 4 mile walk.
Oh yes, and of course we had to sample a great Bloody Mary before heading back to camp.
Next stop, Anacortes, WA.
