Leaving Troutdale, OR we took a 288 mile drive to Baker City, OR for a one night stay. Then another 254 mile run and one night stay in Twin Falls, ID. These were quick stop overs, so there was not much to see. After that it was a 270 mile drive to Lakeside RV Campground just South of Provo, UT. We spent two nights there, needed to get some laundry done and other chores.
Funny thing happened at this RV park, Gayle was out walking the dog (Bugz) she ran into friends from home. Grant and Linda were also on a road trip in their new 5th wheel trailer. We ended up staying there for two nights and shared some stories and a couple “Happy Hours” with them. We told them our plans about our next stop, Hatch, UT where online we found what looked like a nice little park between Bryce and Zion National Parks where we spent three nights. Grant and Linda also booked in to Mountain Ridge RV park, so needless to say we shared a few more “Happy Hours” 🙂 This took us 10 days into our journey.
On the highway coming into Hatch, UT.
And the view from our RV site.
Next up Bryce Canyon.
