Spent about 4 days here at Pioneer trails RV Park.. We were with about 6-8 other rigs from the Everett/Lynnwood area. That’s an okay way to do an outing now and then, but I think we like the independence of doing what we want, when and where. But have to say it was fun.
The park it self is very nice…quite large and some sites are privately owned but are all well maintained. Because of the Oak Harbor Naval Air Field and the local Refineries there were quite a few enlisted personal and transient workers that travel and live in their RV. But then again all really nice people and fun to chat with and hear how that kind if life feels.
Our friends RV
Both going and coming home we to a car ferry.
Spent a day in La Connor, a historical town close by.
Dined with this unsavory tyrant.
Morgan sports car. Their frames are made from wood.
Next stop, Forks, WA and a little Drag Racing.
Cheers,

I have relatives thT live in Anacortes. Very nice town with good bike paths and great scenery. They have a big 4th of July celebration that is fun and worth seeing if you are in the area.
